Arcos Bare Wires
Mt. Carmel, PA — Arcos Industries offers two high-nickel bare wires: Arcos 651 (ERNi-CI) and Arcos 861 (ERNi-1). Arcos 651 is for welding ductile, malleable and grey cast iron using gas metal arc, gas tungsten arc and submerged arc welding processes. Arcos 861 provides corrosion resistance, particularly in alkalis, for welding wrought and cast forms of commercial pure nickel (ASTM B160, B161, B162 and B163).

Arcos high nickel bare wires handle specific and dissimilar welding applications.

ATTC Replacement Parts
Bradenton, FL — The American Torch Tip Company now makes replacement parts for use on the Cloos Tandem and Twin Wire robotic torch systems. The line emphasizes close tolerances for weld performance.

American Torch Tip’s expanded line includes parts
for the ZMW600, ZMW610 and MRW500 robotic torches.

Catalina to Increase Cylinder Capacity
Garden Grove, CA — Catalina Cylinders will add I-200 and I-265 cu. ft. cylinders to its lineup beginning 1st quarter 2009. Also joining the lineup will be the 50-lb. CO2 cylinder for the beverage industry.

Ceodeux D304
Mt. Pleasant, PA — The D304 standard flow cylinder valve from Ceodeux for use with ultra-high purity and corrosive gas- es incorporates double- seal seating technology into its tied diaphragm design valves. The double seal combines a soft seat made of PCTFE (also available in Vespel and PVDF) with a mechani- cal stainless steel stop to prevent over-torquing of the valve.

Ceodeux’s D304 valve allows for metal-metal sealing in the
event that a burn out of the soft seat should occur.

ESAB Flux Cored Electrode
Florence, SC — Shield-Bright 410NiMo from ESAB Welding and Cutting Products is an all-position, gas-shielded, flux-cored electrode designed to weld UNS S41500 wrought stainless steel, CA-6NM (UNS J91540) cast steel and similar 13Cr4NiMo steels commonly used on hydroelectric turbines. Corrosion resistant properties make it a choice for martensitic and martensitic ferritic castings, as well as anywhere cavitation wear may be caused by corrosion from rapidly flowing water.

ESAB’s Shield-Bright flux-cored electrode is available
in .045 in. (1.2 mm) and 1/16 in. (1/6 mm) diameters.

FIBA Swap Load Skid
Millbury, MA — The Swap Load Skid from FIBA Technologies has custom-made framework for the exchange of empty tanks for full tanks using a hook lift or roll-off truck. The Swap Load Skid has a tare weight of 8,000 lbs. Its four tubes can carry a gas payload of approximately 20,000 cu. ft. at 2,600 psi.

FIBA’s Swap Load Skid allows movement
of compressed gases to different locations.

Low-Hydrogen Stick Electrode from Lincoln
Cleveland, OH — The Lincoln Electric Company’s Excalibur 7028 is a low-hydrogen stick electrode designed for structural fabricators working with high depositions in the flat and horizontal positions. The arc characteristics of the Excalibur 7028 allows for the deposit of fillet and lap welds without undercutting. Its impact properties at temperatures below the required 0°F exceed AWS specifications.

Ultra-Purification from Matheson
Parsippany, NJ — The Pico-Trap Ultra-Purification System from Matheson Tri-Gas Electronics removes volatile metal impurities and moisture from critical process gases used by semiconductor manufacturers. For use with wafer-processing capabilities at the 45 nm technology node and beyond, the Pico-Trap System combines the principles of chemisorption and physisorption to achieve levels of process gas purity.

New Helmet Graphics for Miller Elite Series
Appleton, WI — The Lucky’s Speed Shop design has been added to Miller Electric’s Elite and Digital Elite auto-darkening welding helmets. Graphics include cross-bone pistons, a flying eyeball, spider web, barbed wire and a grinning skull with a top hat. The series is meant for stick, MIG and TIG welding and plasma cutting.

Miller’s Lucky’s Speed Shop design

M.K. Morse Tension Gauge
Canton, OH — The M.K. Morse Company’s band saw tension gauge measures blade tension while the band saw blade is on the machine, checking for under-tension and over-tension conditions. Features include a durable cast, powder-coated body with calibrated gauge and storage box with foam inserts.

M.K. Morse’s tension gauge measures in pounds per
square inch and kilograms per square centimeter.

DAIHEN DM500 Welding Power Supply
Tipp City, OH — OTC Daihen’s DM500 is a digital MIG inverter welding power supply that is capable of welding at 500A with an 80 percent duty cycle.
