US District Court of Appeals Invalidates Notice-Posting Rule
The US Circuit Court for the District of Columbia struck down the National Labor Relations Board’s proposed rule that would have required about 6 million businesses to post a Notice of Employee Rights Under the National Labor Relations Act. In a statement, the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace (CDW), which works to protect employees’ rights to make informed, coercion-free decisions about association in the workplace, stated that the posted notices amounted to little more than advertisements for union membership.
