Eleet Cryogenics
Growing Stronger!

People
Things are looking good for Eleet Cryogenics, Inc. and we appreciate the continued support from the industrial gas distributors nationwide that have contributed to our success. Many are just getting to know us better and understand why so many others have been placing their confidence and trust with Eleet for their bulk cryogenic industrial gas equipment requirements since 1996.

The Sears family (Garry, Tenia, Vaughn and Karrisa) are all key contributors in the business and perform significant roles in its development. During the last two years, we have hired or promoted Doug Morton, VP of sales; Mike Saffell, quality control manager; Mike Davis, manager of manufactured products; Adam Scarry, customer asset manager; Troy Stukey, product engineer, and numerous other highly qualified cryogenic technicians.

Products
At Eleet Cryogenics, we provide high quality, fully rehabbed, field tested, pre-owned tanks with a full one-year vacuum warranty for a fraction of the price of a new tank. Recycle/reuse/revitalize your existing tanks by having them sent to our state-of-the-art indoor facility for complete rehab, or choose from our extensive list of pre-owned tanks in stock and available for sale, which is updated daily on our website. We consult with you to ensure that you are getting the right tank for your application. Eleet’s industrial and medical final line pressure control manifolds are well designed and offer a great value. We recently launched our hydraulically driven, very robust, high performance, Dura-Bulk Cryogenic Delivery Vehicles and have been getting excellent reviews and have already received orders for chassis and trailer-mounted units. We also offer upgrades to existing micro-bulk units.

Predictable
At Eleet, we maintain a strong passion about our business and are recognized by many as the industry leader. We provide what some consider common products and services; however, we do it uncommonly well. Eleet Cryogenics, Inc. was founded by Garry Sears, who is a very well respected veteran in the area of bulk tank rehab and installation services as well as control manifold assemblies.  We take pride that once a customer has decided to do business with us, they typically will continue to do so. Our attention to detail, focus on individual customer requirements and specifications, highly qualified technicians, and proven honesty and integrity have been critical to our sustained growth. Our tanks are piped in stainless steel as our standard, have all new high-quality components, are cold shocked and helium leak tested to ensure operational excellence, and configured considering future maintenance requirements.

Package
In addition to bulk tanks, we can include the final line industrial, laser or medical control manifolds, vaporizers, and piping and fittings that you need all on one truck. This will make your installation convenient and efficient. We maintain an extensive inventory of equipment at our facility for immediate shipment and offer very efficient transportation nationwide and installation services if desired.

GAWDA President Jenny McCall and GAWDA Treasurer David Walker (left) finalize the association management agreement with AWS Executive Director Ray Shook.

With this transition, I would like you to know that several members of the GAWDA volunteer leadership team had a productive meeting with AWS this week, and we are making great progress in establishing an effective business link with that organization. We now have firm plans in place to promote and accept registration for the GAWDA 2010 Convention in Maui, HI. Full details on the Convention will be placed on the GAWDA website early next week, including capability for online registration. The theme for this year's event will be "Riding the Wave of the Future."

WGT Features QR Code Technology
This summer issue of Welding and Gases Today is all about innovation. In that spirit, Welding and Gases Today launched a new technology of its own to help distributors gain instant access to supplier information through their smart phones. Many of the advertisements in the issue feature quick response or “QR” barcodes. QR codes have a variety of uses, and may be read using various applications on most types of smart phones, such as BlackBerry, iPhone, Palm and phones that run on Google’s Android operating system.

A QR code in an advertisement in the issue leads you to a website chosen by the advertiser, sometimes with a special offer limited to GAWDA members. Other uses for QR codes include coupons, text messages, contact information and more.

So take a close look at the latest issue of your member magazine and you will find the latest and greatest way that the GAWDA publications are keeping distributors connected.
